You may have heard about Flakka in the news recently. We continue to see a rise of use in communities across the nation. More than 100 lives have been lost to this drug. According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA), Flakka is described as a white or pinkish crystal and can be eaten, injected, snorted, or vaporized. Signs and symptoms include: Hyperstimulation, Paranoia, Hallucinations, self-injury, suicide and organ shutdown.
